Manager, Regulatory Reporting - Banking Industry

Description

Our client, a large-scale and renowned Chinese Bank, is hiring a Manager, Regulatory Reporting to join their Finance team in Kowloon Region office. It has over 90 years of history and was recognized as second largest bank in the worldby market capitalization. This Banking Role will give you a great multi-cultural experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare the regulatory returns according to the completion instructions and rules
Ensure all reporting requirements are met and carried out in an accurate and a timely manner
Review and keep up to date to reporting requirements and limitations
Propose the update on HKMA and CBRC returns procedures manual
Provide information to external auditors related to regulatory reporting issues
Participate in performing the user acceptance tests
Report to management periodically, monthly and yearly

Qualifications

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, preferably with a recognised professional accounting qualification
5 years or above Banking experience is highly preferred
Able to work independently and under pressure
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in application software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Attentive to details, compliance and control oriented, diligent and proactive
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
Immediately available is a definite advantage
